Having happily transitioned from the four seasons (of which three were cold) of New York State, I gladly call the sunny and warm Treasure Coast area of Florida my home! My husband and I, along with our Boston Terrier “Buddy”, reside in the 55+ community of Savanna Club. The area is beautiful and conveniently located near the ocean, shopping, entertainment and restaurants. We are very content to count our blessings and stay right where we are! Unless, of course, the spirit moves us to get on the road in our RV! Our 2018 journey took us through Texas, California, Oregon (Buddy’s home state), Washington, Wyoming, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Arkansas to name a few. Savanna Club has an RV Rally group that welcomes residents to join the club and go RVing. The beauty of Florida is that you can enjoy the weather all year long and their many State Parks, too. Savanna Club has over 40 clubs so if you don’t RV, I am sure there will be a club that sparks your interest.
